The Friday SCS Lakers U14s delivered an impressive 33-17 home victory over the Embers, improving their strong season record to 7-2. The Lakers controlled the game from start to finish, taking an early lead and maintaining their advantage throughout both halves to secure a commanding 16-point win in front of their home crowd.

 

The Lakers got off to a hot start in the first half, with Chris Wourman leading the early charge by scoring 6 points on perfect shooting. Ralph Basilan contributed with an early two-pointer, and Lans N added 4 points as the team built a comfortable 13-5 halftime lead. Wourman's flawless shooting performance stood out, as he finished the game with a perfect 5-for-5 from the field for 10 points, demonstrating excellent efficiency and shot selection.

 

Muse took control of the second half, igniting a spectacular scoring run. After connecting on back-to-back three-pointers, Muse added a two-pointer and converted two free throws to finish with a team-high 10 points on solid 50% shooting from both the field and beyond the arc. Lans N provided steady support throughout the game, contributing 8 points despite some tough shooting conditions, while Austin Matthews chipped in with a perfect field goal when his number was called.
