The Friday SCS Lakers U14s delivered an impressive 36-27 victory over the SCS Bulls at home, improving their record to 2-1. The Lakers controlled most of the game behind a dominant performance from Lans N #58, who exploded for 22 points on efficient 50% shooting from the field, including 2-of-5 from three-point range.

 

The Lakers jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead, driven by back-to-back baskets from Lans N and a score from Muse #31. The Bulls responded with their own 6-0 run to tie the game at 6-6, but the Lakers quickly regained control. Lans N answered immediately with another basket, followed by a clutch three-pointer from Jack Evans #2 to push the lead to 11-6. The Lakers continued to pull away in the first half, with Lans N adding a three-pointer and several more field goals to help build a commanding 21-12 halftime advantage.

 

The second half saw the Lakers maintain their strong play, with Lans N continuing his scoring clinic by adding 6 more points to reach his game-high 22. Muse #31 stepped up as an excellent supporting scorer, contributing 9 points, including a beautiful three-pointer late in the game. Jack Evans also chipped in with solid play, finishing with 5 points while connecting on both a three-pointer and a crucial second-half basket.

 

The Lakers' balanced attack and unselfish play allowed them to steadily extend their lead throughout the second half, reaching their largest advantage at 36-22 before the Bulls managed a late three-pointer.
