The Saturday SCS Lakers U12s had a fantastic start to the season, beating the CV Rockets 36-6 in their home opener. They are now 1-0. The Lakers were in charge the whole game, showing outstanding teamwork and scoring from all over the court. It was a full team effort on their home court. 

 

The Lakers took charge early and never looked back. By halftime, they were up 9-0 thanks to strong play from several players. Josh E scored 3 points in the first half, and Rajiv B, Ethan E, and Luke all made important contributions to the team during that time. The Lakers' defense was just as excellent, as they completely shut out the CV Rockets in the first half. The Lakers kept playing well in the second half, with an explosive offense. Josh E scored the most points in the game with 9 on 4-of-9 shooting, and Rajiv B added 7 points on 3-of-4 shooting. 

 

Ethan E and Syd M each scored 6 points to help the team win. Ethan made all three of his shots from the field. Oscar scored 4 points to help the Lakers get their lead up to 30 points before the final buzzer sounded. This game was a great way to start the season. It showed how deep and balanced the Lakers' attack is. The team had outstanding chemistry and execution because five different players scored a lot and all of the players got a lot of playing time. By holding the CV Rockets to just 6 points, the Lakers demonstrated their commitment on both ends of the court. Their performance is a sign of things to come this season.
